Challenge
Aladdin Temp-Rite, owned by the ALI Group, was looking for ways to optimize their transportation operations. Unlike other food service providers, Aladdin Temp-Rite has added transportation complexity due to its deliveries to hospitals and healthcare facilities. Initially, Aladdin Temp-Rite was looking for a solution to help not only with Freight Audit, but also Freight Bill Pay.
Solution
Through partnering with FreightWise, Aladdin Temp-Rite achieved consistency in invoicing and carrier payments. After 8 years, the FreightWise solution has evolved as Aladdin Temp-Rite has grown. FreightWise conducted a less-than-truckload (LTL) and parcel RFP to ensure Aladdin Temp-Rite had the most competitive pricing, along with managing general rate increases (GRIs) and other carrier rate fluctuations.
The FreightWise TMS is integrated directly into Aladdin Temp-Rite’s technology. With API calls made directly to carriers through FreightWise TMS, carrier rates flow into Aladdin Temp-Rite’s system, allowing their sales team to provide quick and accurate freight costs for orders. FreightWise’s IT development team tailored a solution for faster label printing and streamlined order processing within Aladdin Temp-Rite’s existing system, enabling improved order fulfillment times.
