This enhancement brings automated, accurate freight dimensioning directly into your shipping workflow, helping you achieve improved rating accuracy, streamlined operations, and reduced freight costs.
How It Works
- Shipment Creation: Shipments are created in your ERP system and sent via integration into FreightWise TMS into the Shipments tab.
- Label Printing: The pallet label is printed from your ERP system with unique identifiers that reference the shipment and pallet in FreightWise TMS.
- Warehouse Processing: Warehouse personnel scan the pallet label, initiating the integration
- Dimensioning & Weighing: FreightSnap’s advanced dimensioning technology ensures the pallet is quickly and precisely measured and weighed.
- Data Transmission: Dimensioner automatically sends measurement and weight data, along with images of the pallet, back into FreightWise TMS.
- Order Enrichment: This information is saved to the shipment record, enabling more accurate freight rating, carrier selection, and billing.
