Carrier API Updates and Upgrades

Carriers change their APIs and update their APIs frequently. Over the past few months, we have been working on updating all carrier APIs within FreightWise TMS to faster communication and a better customer experience. We also have new carriers now available via API. 

New Dimensioner Added with FreightSnap

FreightWise is now integrated to even more dimensioning technology with our FreightSnap integration. This enhancement brings automated, accurate freight dimensioning directly into your shipping workflow, helping you achieve improved rating accuracy, streamlined operations, and reduced freight costs.

Kuebix via FreightWise Truckload Option

FreightWise is providing even more support for truckload, no matter how many shipments you have.

• For 1 to 7 truckload shipments weekly: Within the spot quote feature in FreightWise, you will see “Kuebix via FreightWise” as an option for truckload. This will be managed by our FreightWise Truckload team.
• For over 8 truckload shipments weekly: Reach out to our Truckload team truckload@freightwisellc.com. Our Truckload team can work with you directly to identify savings opportunities and carrier partners.

Improved Label Printer Speed through FreightWise Connect App

Last release, we mentioned new scale and printer integration in the FreightWise Connect App (our Desktop application). With new enhancements, the FreightWise Connect App printing speeds are now 15x faster. You can now print 30-60 labels per minute.

FedEx Web Services Phased Shutdown

FedEx will be shutting down its FedEx SOAP APIs (FedEx Web Services) on June 1, 2026. For all customers using FedEx Freight or FedEx Parcel, there will be no impact and our team will work with you directly to update this. Our team will reach out to you in late April with more information.
