Legacy Billiards faced challenges with their less-than-truckload (LTL) freight shipping costs, lacking visibility across the multiple carriers they were using. They also needed help managing their national parcel carrier contracts as all accessories for game room products were shipped via parcel.Solution
Legacy Billiards partnered with FreightWise for a comprehensive managed transportation solution powered by FreightWise TMS. The FreightWise carrier team conducted an LTL RFP, considering competitive rates as well as carriers with a low claim ratio, given the high value of Legacy Billiards’ products. Assisting Legacy Billiards in their parcel contract review and negotiation was also critical to ensure they were taking into consideration minimums, accessorial charges, and other less familiar parcel fees with their national carrier.
